ACC Board of Trustees Elections

Under Texas law, ACC is a separate political subdivision. It is responsible for conducting elections to elect members of the ACC Board of Trustees, to levy taxes, and for annexation issues.

Members of the Board of Trustees represent residents of the ACC taxing district. Trustees are elected at large for six-year terms to provide appropriate high-level guidance and leadership to ensure the College meets the needs of the communities served. The next Board of Trustees election is Tuesday, November 5, 2024.

Apply to Run for a Place on the ACC Board of Trustees

Information about qualifications for candidacy can be found here. For the November 5, 2024 Election, the filing period is July 20, 2024 to August 19, 2024. Applications must be in by 5:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time on the last day of the filing period. Applications can be delivered

  • in person to the ACC Highland Campus, Building 3000, at the Corner of Wilhelmina Delco Drive and Clayton Lane;
  • by mail at Elections Division, Austin Community College, HLC 3, B-3, 6101 Highland Campus Drive, Austin, Texas 78752-6000; or
  • by e-mail to elections@reverse-mortgage-explained.com.
